Winnetka is a neighborhood in the west-central San Fernando Valley in the city of Los Angeles.

The Winnetka node was started on February 27, 2022 by the members of the Barrio Latino, a Spanish speaking Upland community that dedicates itself to helping all Uplanders from Spanish speaking countries. After attempting to build a Node at different cities, the members got organized and the neighborhood of Winnetka was selected to be our starting node.
our major goals are keeping the community pointing in the same direction as Upland and in this way, taking full advantage of the potential of this amazing metaverse.

Highlights in the Neighborhood[edit | edit source]
The Witnneka node is located in the tier 1 city of L.A. Currently we have 28 Uplanders that are building in the southern part of Witnneka. The construccion method is by trains, between them, there are different tiers: Basic, intermediate and Advanced. Each of them with different requirements and benefits.
