Below are some of the most frequently asked questions and general information.
What is a Node?[edit | edit source]
The term "Node" as used within the context of the Upland metaverse, has evolved to refer to any areas that have collaborative or coordinated plans for property and/or business development within them. On the Wiki, these are neighborhoods are marked with the tag "node".
What is a DUE(L)?[edit | edit source]
DUE(L) stands for Designated Upland Entity (List). These Entities, are groups of users, individuals, companies, ect and are tagged for the purpose of giving these entities a Category Page, and Template for Sponsoring a neighborhood or identifying any other Upland related activity that entity is involved in.
What is a Metaventure?[edit | edit source]
Metaventures are Upland businesses run by community Members
Quick Guide to Sends[edit | edit source]
- What are Sends?
- Sends are an in game “item” used to travel to a minted property you don’t own
- How many sends do I get a day?
- By default you get 3 a day that automatically refresh
- You can also collect up to 25 40 (as of May 2020) a day by clicking on any paper airplanes in reach of your explore
- How many sends can I have at one time?
- You can have up to 11 sends at a time (3 base + 8 collected)
- Note: Once you use the 3 base sends you will only be able to have a maximum of 8 until they refresh
- Do I still have to pay the visitor fee if I use a send?
- Yes, a send just enables the move but the visitor fee must be paid to complete the move
What is Spark?[edit | edit source]
Spark is used to be able to build buildings on a property. This is a resource that does not run out, but rather is returned to the player when it is un-staked. If a building costs 950 spark/hours and you stake 1 spark, it will take 950 hours to complete (almost 40 days).
